Breakdown of LASU Academic Calendar 2025/2026 Session
The LASU 2025/2026 academic session is broken down into 44 weeks, with lectures and academic activities making up the majority of the session.
The first semester has a duration of 24 weeks, with newly admitted students staying in school for the full 24 weeks, as they have to resume earlier to complete their registration and documentation. Returning students will only spend a total of 21 weeks for the first semester.
The second semester has a total of 20 weeks, and it is usually shorter than the first semester, but always packed with activity aside lecture such as student week.
