Mr. Adewunmi Samuel Olori, a senior administrator at the Lagos State University, has been appointed pioneer Registrar of Greenland University, Jalingo, the first Private University established in Taraba State. The Lagos State University congratulated Olori on the appointment, describing it as recognition of his administrative experience and the institution's tradition of producing professionals who contribute to the growth of higher education across Nigeria.

In a congratulatory message, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji Bello, and the Registrar, Mr Emmanuel Fanu, stated that Olori's emergence reflects years of dedication to University administration and expressed confidence in his ability to help lay a solid administrative foundation for the new institution.

Before his appointment, Olori served as Deputy Registrar and Administrative Secretary of the Master's of Public Administration Programme Office at the Lagos State University. He joined the University in 2009 as an Administrative Officer II and rose through the ranks after serving in several strategic units of the Registry, including the Vice Chancellor's Office, Academic and Non Academic Staff Establishments Divisions, the Postgraduate School, Legal Affairs Division, School of Transport and Logistics, the Registrar's Office, the MPA Programme Office, and the Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics.

Beyond his administrative responsibilities, Olori served on more than 25 University committees in different capacities, contributing to policy implementation and institutional development. The University management noted that his appointment further strengthens Lagos State University's reputation for producing experienced administrators who continue to occupy leadership positions in Tertiary Institutions across the country.

The management wished him a successful tenure as he assumed responsibility for establishing the administrative structure of the newly created University.
