The Australian Government is offering fully funded scholarships at the University of New South Wales for international students seeking to pursue Masters and Doctoral programmes in Australia, with applications closing on 14 August 2026.
The UNSW scholarships, open to eligible students from all countries, cover full tuition fees alongside an annual living stipend of $39,206 at the 2026 rate. Recipients also receive single overseas student health cover for the duration of their higher degree research candidature at the institution.
UNSW ranks among the world's top 100 Universities and holds distinction as one of Sydney's leading Research Institutions. The Australian Government awards the scholarships annually to international students, with several funding slots currently available across Masters and Doctoral levels.
To qualify, applicants must satisfy the entry requirements of their chosen scholarship and the University, demonstrate relevant undergraduate or postgraduate academic backgrounds, meet UNSW's English language proficiency standards, and be available to undertake full time study.
The scholarship package covers three components: a tuition fee scholarship, an annual living allowance of $39,206, and single overseas student health cover, providing comprehensive financial support for the duration of the research programme.
