NOUN Admissions Requirements for 2025/2026 Session
Most programs at NOUN don’t ask for JAMB, so getting in is pretty straightforward. Here’s what you need for admission in 2025/2026:
Programs for Undergraduates
You need at least five O-Level credits from WAEC, NECO, or something similar, and you can’t take more than two sittings to get them. English Language and Mathematics are a must.
If you’re aiming for nursing, you’ll need an RN or RM certificate. Law? They want English literature, too.
Applicants have to be at least 16 years old when they apply.
For direct entry into the 200 level, you’ll need an A-Level certificate, NCE, or something equivalent. Relevant subjects matter here, think IJMB or OND.
Postgraduate Programs
Postgraduate Diploma: You’ll need at least a bachelor’s degree, either from an HND with a Lower Credit or from a university that the NUC recognises. If you want to draft legislation, you have to be called to the bar.
Master’s Degree: Bring a bachelor’s degree from an NUC accredited university with at least a Second Class Lower. If you have a postgraduate diploma or a couple of years’ relevant work experience, even if your degree class is lower, they might still consider you.
Ph.D.: You need a master’s in a relevant field. For the finer details, please get in touch with the study centre.
O-Level: Five credits, including math and English. Some programs are okay with just a pass in math.

A: If you want to apply for NOUN admission in 2025, head over to our guide on Post UTME Application. There, you have access to the full guide and can follow the process.
Q: How much is the tuition fee at NOUN?
A: The exact amount of school fees depends on your program, undergraduate or postgraduate, plus your level and which semester you’re in.
Q: How many times does NOUN give admission in a year?
A: You can apply to the school any semester. They keep admissions open all year, so you don’t have to wait for a specific time. Just pick the semester that works for you and go for it.
Q: Can I use a NOUN certificate abroad?
A: NOUN degrees and certificates have a strong reputation. People across Nigeria accept them, and they get recognition outside the country, too. Whether you’re applying for a job here or looking to study or work abroad, NOUN qualifications open doors.
