The National Youth Service Corps in Katsina State has commended Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for his sustained financial support, which the scheme credited with improving corps members' feeding and welfare during orientation exercises.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with THISDAY on Wednesday, the state NYSC Coordinator, Evans Okwor, revealed that the governor's regular approval of financial assistance had significantly improved feeding arrangements during orientation in the state.

Okwor noted that Radda's support had helped create a conducive environment for corps members and strengthened the implementation of the scheme's programmes across the state.

“We appreciate your (Governor Dikko Umaru Radda) steadfastness and commitment to the welfare of corps members posted to the state, especially your regular approval of financial assistance to augment the feeding of corps members during the orientation course,” Okwor stated.

He assured the governor of NYSC's continued commitment to delivering quality services to Katsina residents through corps members deployed to critical sectors including healthcare, education, rural development, and social enlightenment.

The commendation reflects what NYSC described as Radda's unwavering dedication to corps members' welfare throughout their service year in the state.
