One of the top priorities for students at the beginning of every session is getting provision for accommodation. At Rivers State University (RSU), hostel allocation comes with a lot of struggle as there are limited slots for all students.

As the 2025/2026 academic session kicks off, the struggle for a bed space in the hostels has officially overtaken every other conversation on campus. As students believe that staying in the hostel is the closest to most department in campus and also the centre of university social life.
