The University of Cross River State has issued a reminder to all students who applied for loans under the Federal Government NELFUND Loan Scheme to verify their application status and collect their school fee payment receipts.
The university stated that some applications have been approved and disbursements made, but observed that some students whose loan applications have been approved are not yet aware of this approval. Others who are aware do not know the proper steps to take to verify their loan and collect their School Fee Payment Receipts.
Consequently, all concerned students are required to proceed to the ICT Unit of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology to verify their loan status and collect their School Fee Receipts.
The university emphasised that it is only by complying with the directives in the circular that loan disbursement will be validated by the institution and students' names included in the official list of those who have paid their school fees.
