Apply for the UNILORIN Post UTME Screening 2025/2026 by following this simple and easy process.

Undergraduate Candidates

  1. Log in using https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/ OR go to https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ and select the undergraduate portal. Candidates are strongly advised against using any other links.

  2. Click Pre-admission Screening Registration from the Admission Menu on the leftmost side of the screen.

  3. Fill out the displayed fields.

  4. To obtain UTME/DE information, candidates should click the Get Details button.

  5. Complete all of the required details on the displayed page.

  6. Click the Make Payment button to access the Remita platform.

  7. Choose your ATM card type (such as Visa or MasterCard).

  8. Enter your ATM card number, which is the 12-digit number on the card.

  9. Enter the ATM card's expiry date and CVV (the three digits on the reverse side of the card). Finally, enter your card PIN and click on Pay.

Please note:

Candidates are advised not to refresh their browsers while the payment process is in progress to avoid multiple deductions from their accounts. If you are unsure, please wait a few hours to see if your bank sends out a debit alert.

If you have any issues with your previous payment, please enter your JAMB Registration Number on the Pre-Admission Screening Registration page and click 'here' to resolve it.

Upon successful payment:

  1. Now, on the left side of the undergraduate portal, click on "admission login".

  2. Enter your JAMB registration number and surname, then click 'login'.

  3. To proceed, click the "next step" button and fill out all of the required information.

  4. When you have entered all of the information correctly, click the 'submit' button.

Note: Candidates who want to upgrade from UTME to Direct Entry must do so on JAMB CAPS before beginning the registration process on the UNILORIN portal, and they must ensure that the exact details of the upgrade to DE are reflected on the UNILORIN portal.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are subject to the same simple registration procedures outlined above.

Direct Entry candidates must select their highest academic qualification from the option list and click the 'Save' button. When finished, candidates must click 'OK' in the dialogue box.

Candidates are advised to carefully enter their results because any error will be treated as deliberate falsification of results, leading to automatic disqualification at any stage of discovery.

Important Notice for UNILORIN Applicants

It is highly recommended that candidates carefully read the instructions below before continuing, as the university will not be held accountable for any inaccurate information that a candidate enters or submits.

  1. Every applicant must upload their O-level and/or A-level results to JAMB CAPS, if applicable. Candidates should type or select "AR" to indicate that they are awaiting results.

  2. Candidates who wish to change courses and programmes must do so through JAMB CAPS rather than the UNILORIN portal, as the university will periodically download these changes from JAMB CAPS and update the University of Ilorin portal until PUTME registration closes.

  3. Candidates must have a personal, valid, and active email address, as well as a personal mobile number, before beginning the registration process.

  4. Candidates will pay a registration fee of ₦2,000.00 only.

  5. Candidates are advised to verify their entries before final submission.

  6. To ensure uninterrupted registration, candidates should keep in mind that information entered can be reviewed for corrections at any time during the registration process, up until the portal is closed.

  7. Candidates should print their screening documents and make sure that all of the information they entered is correct. Candidates are advised to enter their information if it is not displayed correctly.

  9. Candidates should ensure that printouts show clear entry of their details, such as the best five (5) related subjects, UTME subjects, and scores on their slips.

  10. Candidates applying for any of these courses should be aware that only one sitting of O-level will be considered. These programmes include MBBS, pharmacy, optometry & vision science, and computer engineering. Interested candidates should therefore fill out and submit one sitting of O-level results on the portal.
