Accept Admission from JAMB CAPS:
Candidates are advised to visit the JAMB Portal and click on Accept Admission to complete the admission procedure between JAMB and UNN. After accepting the admission, you must print your JAMB Admission letter, which comes in two copies; one for the institution and the other for the candidate.
Acceptance fee:
This is compulsory for all fresh students, not just in UNN, but all higher institutions in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. If you are confused about what this fee is for, let's call it a non refundable fee to show you have accepted to study at the University of Nigeria.
How to Pay UNN Admission Fee
Visit the University of Nigeria www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng,
log in with your JAMB registration number, and generate a Remita invoice.
Visit any commercial bank in Nigeria with the Remita invoice number, and make a payment of 30,000 naira as your acceptance fee.
Get a confirmation Slip from the bank that contains your confirmation number and Remita invoice number.
Once again, visit the UNN website, log in with your JAMB registration number, and input the remita invoice confirmation number on the slip obtained from the bank and print your admission slip.
Note: Ensure to keep the confirmation Slip and the bank teller slip from the bank safe, as the University of Nigeria would ask for a copy during your first and final registration in the university.
