However, prospective students should also know that the UNN admission list is released in batches, starting with the primary list, the supplementary list and the VC list, which is usually the last.

The steps are easy; you can access the list either on your smartphone or PC.

Log in using your JAMB Registration Number
Download the Primary admission list document
If admitted, print the page where your name appeared
Then proceed with the next step to fully accept admission.

Visit efacility.jamb.gov.ng
Log in with your JAMB email and password
Scroll down and click "check admission status", then click the "access my CAPS" button.
On the left sidebar, you will see if you have been admitted or not
What to Do If You Are Admitted
Once you confirm your admission, follow these steps immediately. Do not delay; admission offers are sensitive.
Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS: Log in to the JAMB portal and click "Accept Admission". This is compulsory. Candidates who fail to do this will not receive their JAMB admission letter and will be considered not admitted.
Upload Your O-Level Results (if not done): Visit any approved JAMB CBT centre near you to upload your O-Level results to the JAMB portal if you have not already done so. Your admission cannot be fully processed until this is complete.
Pay the UNN Acceptance Fee: Log in to the UNN portal at unnportal.unn.edu.ng with your JAMB registration number, then generate and download your payment invoice. Take it to any commercial bank and pay the acceptance fee of ₦30,000. Collect your confirmation slip after payment. It will contain your confirmation number and invoice number
Print Your Admission Slip and Fill in the Acceptance Form: Return to the UNN portal and log in using your JAMB registration number, confirmation number, and invoice number. Print your admission slip and complete the acceptance form online.
Print Your JAMB Admission Letter: Go to unn.edu.ng, look for the Admission Letter Printing Portal on the navigation menu, enter your JAMB registration number, and print your letter. Keep a printed copy.
Begin Full Registration: Follow all further instructions on the UNN website for course registration, hostel allocation, and any additional payments. Registration for new students typically begins two to three weeks after the admission exercise is completed.
What to Do If You Are Not Yet Admitted
If your status shows "Not Yet Admitted", here is what to do:
Keep checking regularly. More names are added with each batch. Your name may appear in the supplementary list.
Upload your O-Level results immediately. If you applied with awaiting results, visit an approved JAMB CBT centre right away to upload them. Admission cannot be processed without this.
Change your course on CAPS if necessary. If UNN recommended you for a course different from your original JAMB choice, visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre to do a change of course on CAPS and then submit your updated admission status printout to the UNN Admissions Office.
Never pay anyone outside the official portal. Admission processed outside of the JAMB CAPS portal is illegal. Protect yourself from fraudsters.
