JAMB UTME Cut Off Point

180

If you have a UTME score below 180, you’re not eligible to register for the ABU Post UTME screening.

How ABU Calculates the Post UTME Aggregate Score

  • ABU uses a combined scoring method to rank candidates.

  • JAMB score is marked over 400

  • Post UTME score is also marked over 400

  • Both are added together and divided by 2

  • Aggregate Score Formula:
(JAMB Score + Post UTME Score)÷2

Example:

If you score 240 in JAMB and 260 in Post UTME:

(240 + 260) ÷ 2 = 250

Your aggregate of 250 is then compared to the departmental cut-off point. The higher the aggregate score, the better your chances for admission into competitive programmes.
