ABU Hostel Fees 2025/2026

If you are having trouble finding lodging near the school, you are in luck! ABU provides hostel accommodation for both male and female students for a fee of ₦20,000 only per session.

How to Pay ABU School Fees

Follow these simple steps:

• Go to the Student Portal: https://portal.abu.edu.ng

• New Students: Login with JAMB Reg. Number and state name (lowercase) as password

• Returning Students: Log in with your Matric Number and password

• Update your Profile completely (religion selection affects religious dues)

• Click Fees, then choose Remita or ABU Wallet

Note that Remita works better during peak periods when the wallet option is slow.

How to Book Hostel Space in ABU

After paying school fees:

• Log in to the Student Portal

• Select Accommodation

• Choose your preferred hostel and room

• Click Reserve

• Make payment within 3 days to confirm your space

If you do not make payment before the deadline, your reservation will expire.

Documents Needed for Hostel Clearance

Bring the following when reporting to the hostel:

• Admission Letter

• Accommodation Payment Slip

A: Report the issue at ABU Microfinance Bank beside the main gate for assistance.

Q: Can I change a hostel room after reserving it?
A: Yes, you can pay and then swap with another student who needs the space.

Q: When is the deadline for fee payment?
A: Payment begins January 5 and ends January 17, 2026. Early payment is best to avoid rushing or late registrations.
