Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) wants every student to have a safe and comfortable place to stay while studying. That's why the university offers hostel allocation to students. The procedure is simple; students can easily get a room on campus without stress or confusion.
However, the 2025/2026 academic session hostel procedure will be completely based on a first come, first serve system. Students have to be intentional enough and ballot for their bedspaces before the resumption date of the university.
COOU Hostel Allocation 2025/2026 Academic Session
COOU hostel allocation for the 2025/2026 academic session will follow a particular schedule system. The allocation for returning students will commence from Monday 8th, September 2025 and will run until the 15th of September 2025. Allocation for fresh students will begin on Tuesday, 16th September 2025 and will end on the 30th of September 2025.
Students should also know that the primary criterion to take part in the hostel allocation process relies on school fees payment, as only students who have completed their payments will be given full access.
