For UTME and Direct Entry applicants who registered for several undergraduate programmes and have been anxiously waiting to know their acceptance status, this update is welcome news.

Applicants can now confirm their admission on the JAMB CAPS platform and check their names on the FUD admission page. Below, we have explained in detail how to check the list, pay the admission acceptance fee, and finish the screening process.

How to Check FUD Admission List

At the Federal University, Dutse, prospective students can check their admission status from the JAMB Portal and from the school portal.

Please follow the steps below to verify your admission status on the JAMB Admission Checking Portal and JAMB CAPS Portal:

  1. Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

  2. Enter your username and password to access your Jamb profile.

  3. Scroll down and click the "Check Admission Status" tab after scrolling down.

  4. Next, select Admission Status.

  5. Next, select Check Admission Status

  6. Select "Desktop site" by selecting the three dots in the upper right corner of your browser (i.e., â‹®).

  7. Next, select Admission Status.

  8. Either 'Admission is in progress; check back later', 'NOT ADMITTED', or 'CONGRATULATIONS' will be displayed.

Check Admission Status on School Portal

Successful applicants must pay a non refundable admissions acceptance fee of N2,000.00 and then print their admission letters online from the university's Post UTME webpage.

It is highly recommended that candidates print the JAMB admission letter appropriately and declare their acceptance of the admission offer on the JAMB portal. The registration period will open on Monday, January 27, 2025.

As a result, successful candidates should bring authentic copies of their credentials to their relevant departments or faculties for approval and validation. After passing, candidates should go to the university portal and log in to complete the Central Registration process.

Please take note that once JAMB has finished its admissions procedures, more names of the successful applicants will be made public as the second batch.

How to Pay the FUD Acceptance Fee

According to official portal procedures, the admission acceptance fee payable through the university system is ₦2,000, which can be paid online or through a bank using the generated Remita reference number.

After paying the admission acceptance fee, students should prepare financially for additional costs such as school fees, departmental dues, or accommodation fees, which are separate from the acceptance fee itself.

Steps to Pay the FUD Acceptance Fee

The payment process is straightforward when you follow the official steps:

  1. Visit www.putme.fud.edu.ng

  2. Log in using your username as your JAMB Registration Number and Password as your State of Origin (in capital letters)

  3. Navigate to the Admission Status tab.

  4. Generate an invoice and obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.

  5. Pay the acceptance fee online with a debit card or at a commercial bank using the RRR.

  6. Print both the Remita receipt and the acceptance invoice receipt.

  7. Present receipts for verification and proceed to departmental screening.

These steps reflect the standard procedure issued by the university and admission guidance platforms.

After verification, students can proceed to pay registration or school fees through the main student portal.
