Are you planning to apply to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, for the 2025/2026 session? Then, one of the first things you need to check is the cut off mark for your desired course.

FUTO is one of the leading technology universities in Nigeria, and it is well known for strong training in science, engineering, health, and technological courses. Every year, thousands of people apply, making admission highly competitive.
FUTO Cut Off Mark 2025/2026

How FUTO Calculates Aggregate Score
FUTO uses a weighted system to calculate your final score.
UTME score = 60%
Screening score = 40%
Example:
If you scored 250 in JAMB
250 ÷ 400 × 60 = 37.5
If you scored 80 in the screening
80 ÷ 100 × 40 = 32
Your aggregate is the sum of the two, which is 69.5
The higher your score, the better your chances of your name appearing on the admission list.
FUTO Course Requirements
Apart from meeting the cut off mark, you must also meet these basic requirements:
O Level Requirements
You must have at least five credits, including:
English Language
Mathematics
Three other related subjects
These results must be from not more than two sittings.
UTME Subject Combination
