This is to inform all prospective students of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) that the admission list for the 2025/2026 session is out. Candidates are to visit the JAMB website to check if they have been offered admission or not.

How to Check UNIUYO Admission List on JAMB Portal

  • Visit e-facility.jamb.gov.ng

  • Log in with your registered email and password to get access

  • Click on Check Admission Status

  • Click on Access my Caps

  • Click on Admission Status to see if you have been offered admission.

Note: A congratulatory message will pop up on your screen alongside your photo if you have been offered admission.

The Different Responses on JAMB CAPs and what they mean

Admission Offered:

It means you have been offered provisional admission into the University of Uyo.

Admission in progress:

It means the University of Uyo have recommednded you for possible admission, your admission process is being worked on.

Not Admitted:

You have yet to be offered admission. It could be because you did not meet the required cutoff mark for your applied course, or UNIUYO has yet to push your name forward.

Here is the trickiest path; a lot of students feel it just ends at seeing the congratulatory message from JAMB.

Accepting Admission and Printing Admission Letter:

After seeing "congratutions you have been offered admission." The next step is to accept the admission, which is done by clicking the accept button beneath the message.

Immediately print out your admission list, which comes in two copies. One for intuition use, and the other for candidates' use. Keep them safe, as the University of Uyo will ask for them on arrival.

Paying Acceptance Fee:

This is more than important; it is not only applicable in the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), but every University in the world asks for an acceptance fee after being offered admission.

For the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), newly admitted students are to pay an unrefundable fee of 30,000 Naira. The amount is the same for all faculties and departments.

How to Pay UNIUYO Acceptance Fee

  • Visit students.uniuyo.edu.ng

  • Log in with your JAMB registration number and password

  • Go to payment and click on acceptance fee

  • Enter your JAMB registration number and click generate

  • The system will generate a 12 digit RRR number

  • Choose payment method, either online(with ATM card) or through bank (Any commercial bank)

  • After payment, return to the portal and input the RRR number to confirm payment

  • Print your UNIUYO Acceptance fee receipt

Note: All slips, invoice and receipts gotten during this process must be kept safe, as they will be needed on resumption.

A. It's usually 3 lists: the merit, supplementary, and Vc list. Note there are not released all at once.
