UNIJOS Admission Requirements for Aspirants at UNIJOS

Meeting the cut off mark is not the only criteria to getting admitted to the University of Jos. These are the various requirements you need to meet, which depend on your mode of entry.

UTME Candidates

  1. Applicants are expected to score at least 180 in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be considered for admission.

  2. Applicants must list The University of Jos (UNIJOS) as their first or primary choice during their JAMB registration process.

  3. Candidates must participate in the post UTME screening exercise organised by UNIJOS, which is compulsory for all.

  4. During the time of application, the candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Direct Entry Candidates

  1. Candidates are required to have at least two passes in subjects that are relevant to their chosen field of study.

  2. The candidate is required to possess at least a Merit Pass in a National Diploma (ND) or National Certificate of Education (NCE) in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
